Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of htmlhost.co (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.

The service

htmlhost.co lets you publish a single HTML file (and supporting assets) to a public URL. Anonymous sites have a maximum lifetime of 7 days. Authenticated and Pro users get higher limits as described on the pricing page.

Your account

• You’re responsible for keeping your credentials and API tokens secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.
• One person or entity per account. Don’t share logins.
• You’re responsible for everything done under your account.

Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, serve, and display your content as needed to operate the Service.

You’re responsible for the content you publish. You represent that you own it or have permission to publish it, and that it doesn’t violate anyone’s rights or any law.

Acceptable use

You may not use htmlhost.co to publish or distribute:

• Phishing pages, fake login screens, or deceptive content impersonating other services.
• Malware, exploit kits, drive-by downloads, or browser exploits.
• Cryptocurrency miners, drainers, or hidden wallet-draining scripts.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Reported to NCMEC and law enforcement, no exceptions.
• Content that incites violence, harassment, or illegal activity.
• Material that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights.
• Spam, SEO link farms, or affiliate cloaking pages.
• Pornography or sexually explicit content.
• Unsolicited tracking, fingerprinting, or surveillance scripts.

You also may not abuse the Service: bypass rate limits, scrape at scale, attempt to access other users’ data, reverse engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation.

Enforcement

We may suspend or remove sites and accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Repeat or flagrant violations result in permanent bans. We comply with valid legal requests, including DMCA takedowns — send notices to hey@htmlhost.co.

Plans, billing, and refunds

• Pro is billed monthly or annually in advance. Plans renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel anytime from your settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are at our discretion. We generally refund within 14 days of a charge if you haven’t used the plan substantially.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice. New prices apply at your next renewal.

Service availability

We aim to keep the Service running, but we don’t guarantee uptime. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may change or discontinue features at any time. If we shut down a feature your sites depend on, we’ll give reasonable notice when we can.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, htmlhost.co is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or business arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify htmlhost.co against claims arising from your content or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms or non-payment. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, limitations, indemnity) will survive.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
