Common questions

Business website and contact form questions

Read the documentation
What should a small business website include?

Start with your services, the area you serve, examples of your work and a clear contact page. Add opening hours, directions and a quote request form where relevant. Give distinct services their own pages when each needs more explanation.

Will contact forms work on a static website?

Yes. Connect the form in the htmlhost editor and publish the page. Submissions appear in your dashboard and can be emailed to you without setting up your own server.

Can I connect a domain I already own?

Yes. Add the domain in Settings and follow the DNS instructions at your domain provider. Domain connections are included while Pro is active, or available as a separate paid add-on.

Can I take bookings or payments?

You can link to your existing booking or checkout service, and embed a service when it supports embedding. htmlhost forms can collect an enquiry; availability, payment processing and order management remain with those services.
