Common questions

HTML portfolio hosting questions

Read the documentation
How do I host my HTML portfolio online?

Import the folder containing your HTML pages, stylesheets, scripts and images into htmlhost. Preview your project pages on desktop and phone, then publish to get a shareable URL. You do not need to set up a Git repository or manage a server.

Do I need to write code to update my portfolio?

You can edit supported text, images and links directly in the visual editor, or ask AI Edit for changes. If you want to work in the source, the same project also has a code editor.

Can each project have its own page?

Yes. A site can contain multiple pages and assets. Create a portfolio overview, separate case studies, an About page and a contact page within the same project.

Can I take my portfolio elsewhere later?

Yes. Choose Export site to download your project's files, including its HTML, CSS, JavaScript and assets. Connected form responses are included as a CSV in the export.
