How to edit your website with AI, without touching code

You can build and change a whole site on htmlhost without ever reading HTML. Here's how to work that way.

Hide the code

In the editor, click the panel icon at the top of the left panel. The code, Library and Structure panels fold away, the preview fills the screen, and AI editing turns on. Click Panels in the preview's corner to bring them back.

Click, then describe

1. Click anything on the page: a heading, a button, a whole section.
2. A small box appears. Describe the change: "make this headline shorter and punchier", "turn these into three columns", "make the button green".
3. AI edits just that part and shows you the result. Don't like it? Undo.

To change something across the whole page, like fonts or the overall colour scheme, use ✦ Edit entire page at the top of the preview.

Small edits don't need AI

• Change text: double-click it and type.
• Swap an image: right-click it → Replace Image….
• Move things: right-click → Move Up or Move Down, or drag.
• Copy or remove: right-click → Duplicate or Delete Element.

Add whole new parts

Hover between two sections and click + Add section, then describe what you want. It's built in your site's style. You can also drag ready-made sections and elements from the Library; see how to build a page by drag and drop.

Talk it through first

Not sure what you want? Open Chat and ask questions in Discuss mode, like "how can I make this page load faster?" or "what would make this landing page more convincing?". When you're ready, switch to Execute and it makes the changes.

Open the editor and try clicking something.
